Blogmas #4: BEST GIFTS UNDER 10€ ***** NAJBOLJŠA DARILA DO 10€

Welcome to the last post in the series of gift guides. This time, let me introduce you some gifts that are fun and useful and won't leave your wallet completely dry. I always have some gifts like these in my care if I run into people I want to gift during the holiday season, but they are also great for those who participate in Secret Santa games.

Pozdravljena v še zadnji od treh objav z idejami za darila. Tokrat ti predstavljam darilca, ki so zabavna in uporabna, pa ne bodo popolnoma izsušila tvoje denarnice. Sama imam vedno nekaj takih darilc v avtu, če v prazničnih dneh naključno srečam koga, ki ga želim obdarovati, dobra pa so tudi za kakšne skrivnostne božičke!

First gift that would be perfect for me is a set of "clothes" for keys. My key for the front door is identical to the one of my parent's house and I never know which is the right one! Besides that, I find these monkeys adorable, don't you? They can be bought at Flat online store (5,95 € for the set).

Prvo darilo, ki bi bilo sploh zame zelo uporabno, je set "oblačilc" za ključe. Moj ključ za vhodna vrata in ključ vhodnih vrat pri mojih starših sta namreč popolnoma enaka in nikoli ne vem, kateri je pravi! Poleg tega so tele male opice izredno simpatične, mar ne? Opice so iz trgovine Flat, dobiš pa jih tudi v njihovi spletni trgovini (5,95 € za set).

Next gift is a must-have for every handbag. This cute little sheep acts as a holder for the earphones. Mine travel with me at the bottom of my purse and always get wrapped around the wallet, pens, papers, lipsticks and other clutter in my purse, which often damages them.  Sheep is also from Flat store (8,50€).

Naslednje darilce, ki je verjetno nepogrešljivo v vsaki ženski torbici, je tale simpatična ovčka, na katero se navijejo slušalke. Moje slušalke z menoj potujejo na dnu torbice in se vedno ovijejo okrog denarnice, svinčnikov, računov, šmink in podobnega navlake v torbici, poleg tega pa se pogosto poškodujejo. Ovčka je iz trgovine Flat (8,50€).

Personally, I can't leave without candles. I choose them based on the season, my mood, color of the candle and probably some other subconscious criteria. This year, Svichka candles are all the rage. There are four different scents - basswood, mango, Christmas and fig with brown sugar. You can get them at their online store for 6 €.

Sama ne morem brez svečk. Pri izbiri se ravnam po tem, kateri letni čas je, svojem razpoloženju, barvi svečke in verjetno še kakšnem drugem podzavestnem kriteriju. Letos so hit svečke Svichka, ki jih lahko kupiš preko njihove spletne trgovine (6 €). Na voljo so ti v vonju lipe, manga, božiča ter fige z rjavim sladkorjem. 

Another 2016 hit are Beanies coffees which are awesome if I may say so myself. Flavors like Christmas pudding, chocolate-orange, gingerbread and cookie dough will please everyone with a sweet tooth. You can get them at online stores Malinca or Moja čokolada for 4,95 €.

Še en hit letošnjega leta so kavice Beanies, za katere se strinjam, da so res odlične. Okusi, kot so božični puding, čokolada-pomaranča, medenjak in piškotek bodo zagotovo razveselili vsakega sladokusca. Kavice lahko za 4,95 € kupiš v spletni trgovini Malinca ali Moja čokolada. 

If I had an Euro for every time I heard the sentence "which glass is mine?" I could probably buy all the gifts from this years' gift guides. One of the best purchases in my household where glass markers. Each person chooses their own, sticks them on the glass and surely doesn't forget the market color, no matter how many glasses they have. These in the photo are more appropriate for wine glasses (store 1001 dar, 5,95€) while there is also a version for regular glasses. I think this is a great gift!

Če bi imela evro za vsakič, ko sem slišala stavek "kateri kozarec je moj?", bi lahko kupila vsa darila, ki sem jih priporočala v preteklih dneh. Eden najboljših nakupov v mojem gospodinjstvu so bili označevalci za kozarce. Vsakdo si izbere svojega, ga prilepi na kozarec in zagotovo vsaj barve svoje oznake ne pozabi, ne glede na število popitih kozarcev. Ti na sliki so primerni za vinske kozarce (trgovina 1001 dar oziroma spletna trgovina, 5,95€), obstaja pa tudi verzija za navadne kozarce. Meni se zdi to res super darilo!

Another gift appropriate for everyone is a set of diamonds. That's right - diamonds! Under 10 €! You simply stick these diamonds into a freezer and pull a few out when you need a refreshing drink. The biggest advantage is that the drinks don't get diluted  as they do with regular ice cubes which is especially important with spirits. These are also available in 1001 dar at 4,95 € for 10 diamonds. I can guarantee you that you won't find cheaper diamonds anywhere.

Še eno darilo, primerno za vsakogar, je set diamantov. Da, prav si prebrala - diamantov! Pod 10 €! Te diamante enostavno vtakneš v zmrzovalnik, ko pa potrebuješ osvežitev, jih nekaj vržeš v kozarec. Največja prednost je v tem, da pijače ne razredčijo, kot jo običajne ledene kocke, kar je še posebej fino pri žganih pijačah. Na voljo v trgovini 1001 dar, cena za 10 diamantov 4,95 €. Garantiram ti, da diamanti nikoli ne bodo cenejši.

But since this is a beauty blog and I can't escape my true self, I will end this post by recommending another gift that would surely please your girlfriends. I am talking about the Freedom lip kit (each contains 5 lipsticks and there are nine different kits available at online store Licila.si). I tested them myself (*click* to read the post) and I find they offer great ratio between price and quality. Lipsticks are nicely pigmented and easy to apply, while the versatility of colors will please every beauty junkie. These lip kits are priced 6,99-7,99€.

Ker pa je to lepotni blog in ker ne morem iz svoje kože, ti na koncu predlagam še eno darilo, ki ga bo gotovo vesela vsaka prijateljica. Govorim o Freedom setu šmink (vsak vsebuje 5 šmink, obstaja pa kar devet različnih setov, ki si jih lahko ogledaš na Licila.si), ki sem ga sama preizkusila (*klik* za oceno) in po mojem mnenju ponuja odlično razmerje med kakovostjo in ceno. Šminke so lepo pigmentirane in se enostavno nanesejo, raznolikost v barvah pa bo zadostila čisto vsaki lepotni navdušenki. Cene setov se gibljejo med 6,99 - 7,99 €.

Blogmas #3: BEST GIFTS FOR HIM ***** NAJLEPŠA DARILA ZANJ

Shopping for the men in my life is a challenge, to say the least. It's not difficult to buy a gift for my hubby since he always needs something - new tires, a nice sweater, a massage or a new "toy" for his workshop. I never run out of ideas. But shopping for my male friends is more difficult since I often don't know what they need and what they already own, seeing I don't talk to them about this as I do with my girlfriends.

Nakupovanje za moške v mojem življenju je vsako leto izziv. Mojemu darila ni težko kupiti - vedno kaj potrebuje, pa naj bodo to nove gume, kakšen lep pulover, terapevtska masaža ali pa kakšna nova igrača za njegovo delavnico. Idej mi tu res ne manjka. Težje pa je kupovati za moje moške prijatelje, saj pogosto ne vem, kaj že imajo in kaj potrebujejo, saj se preprosto o tem z njimi ne pogovarjam toliko, kot z ženskami. 

Consequently, I often rely on my gut feeling - I buy something I feel they wouldn't buy for themselves because they don't need it that badly. Sometimes, I also buy things that they perhaps already use and a spare won't do any harm. But in both cases, I try to make sure that I buy things that are actually useful and won't just gather dust.

Posledično običajno kupujem po občutku - nekaj, kar se mi zdi, da si sami ne bi kupili, ker nujno ne potrebujejo, včasih pa tudi kaj, kar morda že uporabljajo, pa ne bo nič škodilo, če imajo še malo zaloge. Vedno pa se potrudim, da moja darila niso "praholovci" in so dejansko uporabna. 

Blogmas 2016!

December is finally here! Each year, I can hardly wait for it to arrive, especially during the gray and boring month of November. But now, at last, it has arrived. Parties, hanging out with friends, good food and drinks, presents, decorations, shopping - I love everything!

Končno december. Vsako leto ga tako težko čakam, sploh siv in dolgočasen november se mi vleče v nedogled, potem pa vendarle - december! Zabave, druženje s prijatelji, dobra hrana in pijača, darila, okraševanje, nakupovanje - rada imam prav vse, kar mi prinese veseli december. 

This year, I wish for us to really hang out during this December. Throughout the month, you'll find a new post on my blog every two days - fifteen in total! We'll go through my gift guides, see what products I have loved the most in the past year, I'll show you what I got for Christmas and what my baby boy is getting for his first Christmas, I'll teach you how to bake potica, wrap presents, cure a hangover and so much more!

Letos si želim, da se čez december sprehodiva skupaj. Skozi cel december boš novo objavo na blogu lahko našla vsaka dva dni - skupaj jih bo torej kar petnajst! Sprehodili se bova čez moje nasvete za darila, pregledali, kateri izdelki so me najbolj navdušili v preteklem letu, pokazala ti bom, kaj sem dobila za božič in kaj bo za svoj prvi božič dobil moj sinček, naučila te bom, kako speči potico, zaviti darila in pozdraviti mačka ter še in še.

Life update and blog plans + giveaway

Dear beauties, 

those of you who follow me on social media know that my life changed a lot in the past couple of months. 7 weeks ago I became a mom and my little bub is now the center of my universe, my little prince, my everything. Little one was born on 1^st of April (hence many people didn’t believe me when I announced it to the world) and has been really good to his new and a tiny bit scared mum – growing a lot, sleeping a lot and generally being the best baby in the world. And no, I’m not biased at all :)

After all of these weeks I can now finally say that we’ve got a daily routine going on, meaning that my life is slowly again getting back on track and I can afford myself an hour or so every day to concentrate on my blog. But one thing that a baby taught me is that a schedule is important, so I’ve decided to give a little more structure to my posting. I decided on a schedule that goes approximately like this...

On the 1^st Monday of the month, I will write a post about everything new I bought and received in the past month. This will not be reviews, but a haul type of a post. If you are interested in anything you see in that post, keep your eyes open on the 3^rd Monday of the month, since I’ll be doing a review of all the new products then. 

On the 2nd and 4^th Monday of the month, I’ll be doing a bi-weekly make-up & skincare basket, showing you the products I’ll be using for the next two weeks. This will keep me in check and ensure that I keep using and trying new products and not only neglecting them for old favorites.

Tuesday (as well as Saturday) will be my days off when I’ll only post if I feel like it or a very exciting thing happens (like a giveaway or an event). 

On Wednesdays, I’ll be showing you new product launches that I’m excited about and occasionally doing a wish-list post about everything that I would like to purchase for myself.

I’m using Thursday as a “free” day – the day I will write about anything I want, but you can certainly expect more lifestyle posts and random rants about my life and motherhood.  

Each Friday, I’ll do a post about the Superstar of the week – the product I’ve been loving most that past week.

As I’ll be taking the Saturday off, expect a big post each Sunday. This will be a very “beauty blogger” sort of post – Favorites, Top products, Dupes, Routines, Blogging and Photography, to name just a few.

It’s a big plan, but I hope I can stick with it, since I’ve missed my blog a lot in the past few months and I can’t wait to get back to writing about one of the big passions in my life. I mean, I did my make-up before heading off to give birth, so I think that it’s only fair I give it the place it deserves in my life.

2nd day of Christmas Giveaways!

Dear Beauties, 

it's 2nd of December which means it's time for a new giveaway on my blog. But first, let's take a look at what happened yesterday. So many of you participated and it was really difficult for me to pick out the comment that I liked the most. In the end, I decided on the post by Mija Budja who wrote... 

 "A book that my aunt made for my 18th birthday. It was my entire life on the book with pictures and stories about me :)"

I also received such a photo book by a very special person who has known me all my life for my 30th birthday and it was one of the most beautiful gifts I've ever gotten and I will cherish it forever. Mija congratulations, don't forget to send me your contact details so I can send you your present. 

But it's only day 2 of the giveaways and there are many more chances for all of you to win! The second gift of this week includes Aussie Miracle Hairspray, Glade Velvet Tea Party candle (which is my favorite for this holiday season!), Konad Rhinestone wheel and Kiko eyeshadow with a single eyeshadow empty case (the perfect shade for highlighting your browbone, in my humble opinion). Final Blogvember post: 5 Days of Christmas Giveaway

first, I want to thank each and every one of you who followed my (quite unfortunate) attempt at Blogvember. I really did try to make it work, but unfortunately, life got a better of me. But nevertheless, let's end this on a high note: with five days of presents!
